About the role

SPAR is a dynamic and stable retail chain focused on excellence. We are opening a new Interspar in Poreč and are looking for proactive, responsible individuals to join our team as a Fresh Sector Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Organise work for one of the fresh assortments (e.g., fresh meat & fish, fruit & veg, delicatessen, bakery).
• Lead and coordinate daily tasks efficiently.
• Prepare accurate and timely orders.
• Check displayed prices, use‑by dates, quantities and product quality.
• Coordinate and supervise sales during promotional actions.
• Ensure achievement of business results.
• Apply HACCP regulations and maintain hygiene of work surfaces and personal appearance.
• Participate in inventory counts, and handle store opening and closing.
• Provide courteous, knowledgeable service and advice to customers.

Required profile

• Secondary school education (SSS).
• Experience working in retail.
• Preferably experience in leading and managing staff.
• Good knowledge of the product assortment.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
• Reliability and neatness in task execution.
