About the role

The Fresh Produce Sales Associate is responsible for handling fresh delicatessen items in our new InterSpar store in Poreč. You will ensure product quality, attractive presentation and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, display and sell fresh delicatessen products.
• Monitor stock levels and control the quantity of displayed items.
• Check prices, use‑by dates, quantities and product quality.
• Receive deliveries from the central warehouse and direct suppliers, and operate the cash register.
• Apply HACCP food‑safety procedures and maintain hygiene of work surfaces and personal appearance.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable advice to customers.

Required profile

• Food‑handling certificates: VKV, KV, SSS.
• Good knowledge of delicatessen and related product ranges.
• Previous retail experience, preferably in a similar role.

Required skills

• HACCP compliance.
