Toolmaker – CNC & Injection Mold Specialist

About the role

Jabil is seeking an experienced Toolmaker to lead tooling maintenance and precision machining activities, focusing on CNC operations and injection mold tooling. This role involves hands‑on work with complex molds and mentoring a team of technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and repair of multi‑cavity injection molds, jigs, fixtures, and dies.
• Interpret 2D/3D drawings and CAD/CAM data for accurate machining and mold repair.
• Operate advanced equipment such as 3‑axis CNC, EDM wire/sink, grinding and polishing tools.
• Manufacture and refurbish precision spare parts and molds using appropriate materials.
• Mentor tooling technicians and engineers to ensure best practices and timely execution.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to tooling, machining, and fabrication.
• Recommend design, material, and process improvements for optimal production.
• Ensure quality using precision measuring instruments (e.g., CMM) and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

Required profile

• Technical high school graduate with 7–10 years of injection mold tooling and CNC machining experience.
• Strong ability to work with tight tolerances and complex geometries.
• Proficiency in English and Croatian.
• Team‑oriented with leadership capabilities and a proactive mindset.
