Restaurant Manager (m/f)

About the role

The Restaurant Manager leads the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service, team coordination and financial accuracy. You will interact with the team each morning to set the day's plan and maintain high standards of guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Check all restaurant areas – reservations, lighting, temperature, music, table settings and bar/kitchen orders.
• Prepare daily financial reports, deposit cash and manage inventory.
• Coordinate with the kitchen head to confirm readiness for service.
• Monitor floor activity during peak times, support staff and intervene when issues arise.
• Train waitstaff on guest service, upselling dishes and drinks, and maintain regular team communication.
• Create work schedules for waitstaff every two weeks and conduct weekly bar inventory.

Required profile

• Strong hospitality knowledge and passion for leading people.
• Proactive mindset to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance team performance.
• Ability to act as a role model, enforce standards when needed and support staff development.
• Willingness to discuss performance, training, promotions and, when necessary, terminations with HR.
