About the role
The restaurant Matsu is looking for a skilled cook to prepare fresh main dishes, wok meals and sushi according to our recipes. You will ensure ingredient freshness, handle kitchen organization and maintain a clean work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Check freshness, quantities and labeling of all ingredients at the start of each shift.
- Prepare main dishes, wok meals and sushi following Matsu recipes.
- Make side dishes, sauces and salads according to standards.
- Finish starters, gyoza and rolls and hand over a tidy kitchen to the next shift.
Required profile
- Fast and accurate preparation of wok and sushi dishes.
- Maintain proper food labeling and freshness.
- Stay organized and calm during peak service.
- Assist colleagues and perform all kitchen tasks, including dishwashing.
- Keep the kitchen and equipment clean and orderly.
