About the role

The store is opening a new InterSpar in Poreč and is looking for a proactive and responsible sales associate to join the team. You will work directly with customers, handle cash transactions and ensure the shop floor is well‑presented.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and process payments.
• Display merchandise, stock shelves and keep product presentation attractive.
• Monitor expiry dates, price labeling and overall product appearance.
• Receive goods from the central warehouse and direct suppliers.
• Apply HACCP standards and maintain hygiene of work areas and personal appearance.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service and advice to shoppers.

Required profile

• VKV, KV, SSS education level.
• Preferably previous retail experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Dedication, accuracy, reliability and perseverance.
• Responsibility, teamwork orientation and courteous communication with customers.
