Full Stack Engineer - Remote

About the role

Huzzle connects talent with in-house roles at leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe and Australia, including startups, digital agencies and tech platforms in SaaS, MarTech, FinTech and EdTech. It is recruiting a skilled, proactive Full Stack Engineer for a high-performing remote team. You will design, develop and maintain scalable web applications across frontend and backend, collaborating cross-functionally and owning features end to end.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications (frontend and backend)
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to deliver new features
• Build and integrate APIs, services and third-party tools
• Optimise applications for scalability, speed and security
• Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Take part in code reviews and help shape engineering best practices
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and frameworks

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in full stack development
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely

Required skills

• JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React and Next.js
• Backend technologies such as Express, Python, Ruby or Java
• RESTful APIs and SQL/NoSQL databases
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure
• Git version control

Nice to have

• DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Microservices architecture
• Testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress
• SaaS or startup experience
