Assistant Product Manager - HR & Payroll (PANTHEON)

About the role

Datalab Tehnologije, d.d., a South-eastern European ERP provider behind the PANTHEON system, is looking for an Assistant Product Manager for its Software Development team. The role helps shape PANTHEON's HR and Payroll solutions and combines payroll and HR expertise, knowledge of local legislation and software product development. It is fully remote, based in Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina or Serbia.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in developing and continuously improving PANTHEON's HR and Payroll modules.
• Monitor local payroll, employment and HR legislation and turn regulatory changes into functional requirements for developers.
• Work with Product Managers and Software Developers to plan, specify and implement new features.
• Test new functionalities for accuracy, quality and compliance with legislation.
• Analyse user requirements, find improvement opportunities and contribute to product enhancements.
• Prepare user documentation, release notes and training materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams, partners and users so solutions meet real business needs.

Required profile

• Knowledge of PANTHEON ERP, especially its HR and Payroll functions.
• Good understanding of local payroll and employment legislation, including payroll calculations, employment regulations and HR administration.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in payroll, HR administration, ERP consulting, software support or a related field.
• Ability to turn business and legal requirements into functional software specifications.
• Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with ERP implementation, consulting or software support.
• Experience in software testing or writing functional specifications.
