About the role

K-UNI d.o.o. is expanding its tool‑making department and seeks a responsible, precise and motivated professional to work in a modern manufacturing environment. The role involves designing, building, maintaining and optimizing production tools.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings for tools and components.
• Design and manufacture new production tools, and modify or maintain existing ones.
• Participate in tool development and optimisation during production launch.
• Program and operate wire EDM and CNC machines independently.
• Set up and machine complex tools.
• Measure, inspect and control tool quality and finished parts.
• Assist in assembly, commissioning and optimisation of new tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency of tool‑making processes.
• Contribute to the development and optimisation of production processes.
• Perform independent maintenance, repairs and adjustments of tools and related equipment.
• Collaborate actively with production and other technical departments.

Required profile

• Completed secondary or higher technical education.
• At least 3 years of experience in tool making, tooling or industrial production.
• Strong sense of precision and quality.
• Self‑reliant, responsible and reliable.
• Willingness to work in a team and cooperate with other departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD technology, especially SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of CNC technology and experience operating CNC machines.
• Experience with wire EDM (electrical discharge machining).
• Familiarity with plastic processing (preferred).
