Voice Recording Specialist (Croatian) – Project Morava

About the role

Appen is looking for Croatian speakers to join Project Morava, a project that helps build more natural and intelligent voice AI systems by collecting high-quality speech data. Participants read and record short, scripted prompts in Croatian, which are used to train and evaluate speech recognition models. This is a project-based opportunity with CrowdGen, where you become an Independent Contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Record 150 short, scripted voice prompts in Croatian using the Appen Mobile app on your smartphone.
• Each prompt is a brief, natural spoken command; simply read them clearly and naturally.
• Follow the recording guidelines and speak clearly and naturally.

Required profile

• Native speaker of Croatian.
• Currently residing in Croatia.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Smartphone compatible with the Appen Mobile app.

What we offer

• The task takes about 2 hours, including time to review the guidelines.
• Work on your own schedule, from anywhere in Croatia.
• Recording done entirely on your smartphone.
• Payment is issued after completing a full session of 150 prompts; if fewer are assigned, payment is adjusted proportionally.

The project follows a first-come, first-served approach with demographic quotas, so some applicants may not receive a task. After applying, you will receive an email from CrowdGen to set up your account and then apply for the project.
