Tax Senior (International Tax and Transaction Services)

About the role

EY Tax is looking for a Senior (m/f) in its International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) team in Zagreb. The role takes part in challenging tax engagements and delivers quality tax planning services for diverse clients, with support from experienced professionals and opportunities to learn about consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, IT and other industries.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality, timely and responsive advisory services on corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing and other corporate taxes
• Discuss complex tax issues with the engagement team and the client
• Keep up with current tax developments and apply them to each client's situation
• Analyse information thoroughly and accurately and propose practical solutions
• Contribute to achieving team goals

Required profile

• University degree; a degree in Accounting, Auditing or Law is an advantage
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
• Proficiency in English
• Ideally: interest in international taxation and cross-border business, ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, proactive and detail-oriented approach

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
