About the role

The position leads a corporate banking team and acts as a senior specialist for corporate clients. The role combines strategic implementation, sales, risk management and team leadership within OTP Bank in Zagreb.

Key responsibilities

• Implement bank/sector strategy by adapting product mix and business processes for the team.
• Promote a zero‑tolerance culture for regulatory and operational breaches, ensuring compliance with KYC, AML and internal policies.
• Drive proactive sales of banking products and services to achieve budget targets on existing and new corporate clients.
• Oversee daily operational framework, including supervision of credit proposals, delegation of competencies and coordination of internal activities.
• Apply best practices of sustainable and responsible banking and promote digitalisation of processes.
• Manage and develop sub‑ordinates through coaching, task organisation and performance monitoring.
• Report sales and profit results to senior management and respond promptly to internal inquiries.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential corporate clients, representing the bank in negotiations.
• Negotiate and monitor risk and non‑risk products, ensuring contract terms are fulfilled.
• Collaborate with credit analysts and other specialists to assess client creditworthiness and prepare decision‑making materials.

Required profile

• University degree in economics or finance (VSS/VSŠ).
