About the role

The City Pharmacy Zagreb is looking for a professional associate to support accounting, finance and controlling functions. The role involves preparing statistical reports, monitoring financial performance and coordinating with external auditors and banks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statistical and ad‑hoc reports for state and local authorities.
• Assist the director with monitoring, analysis and regular reporting.
• Participate in business planning and implementation of plans.
• Coordinate cooperation with external auditors, banks and other financial institutions.
• Daily and monthly reporting on receivables and liabilities.
• Monthly control of analytical ledger entries against the general ledger.
• Regular reporting on profitability of each pharmacy, including inventory, margin, liquidity and profit analysis.
• Monthly reconciliation of U‑RA and I‑RA books and VAT alignment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the department head.

Required profile

• University degree in economics (bachelor or master).
• Knowledge of at least one foreign language.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Analytical mindset.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Good command of Excel.
