About the role

The Hotel Operations & F&B Manager will lead all operational aspects of the hotel and its food‑and‑beverage department in Postira, Hvar. You will ensure seamless daily service, drive revenue growth, and maintain high standards of guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate work across all hotel departments, planning, organizing and supervising daily operations.
• Recruit, train, evaluate and motivate staff, fostering a positive work atmosphere.
• Monitor key performance indicators, costs, market trends and competitor activities.
• Continuously improve service quality and support promotional and sales initiatives.
• Propose and implement measures to increase revenue and optimise expenses.
• Handle operational issues, guest complaints and claims.
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety and hygiene regulations and uphold quality standards.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and accounting teams.
• Manage procurement for all hotel departments.
• Oversee restaurant operations, staff training, budgeting, inventory control and supplier relations.

Required profile

• VSS or VŠS degree in tourism or economics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar hotel or F&B management roles.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); additional foreign language is a plus.
• Strong organisational, communication and leadership abilities.
• Deep understanding of hotel operational processes, legal regulations and standards.
• High level of autonomy, responsibility and analytical thinking.
• Ability to plan and work under pressure, guest‑focused and quality‑oriented.
• Team‑player mindset.
