About the role

The Hotel Novi Zagreb is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager / Head Chef to lead its culinary operations. You will be responsible for planning menus, managing supplies, and ensuring high standards across the hotel's dining venues.

Key responsibilities

• Plan meals, manage inventory, and maintain kitchen standards.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments such as procurement and housekeeping.
• Organise kitchen workflow and keep accurate records.
• Continuously improve food and beverage offerings and develop new dishes.
• Oversee kitchen operations for multiple restaurant concepts.
• Provide ongoing training and development for kitchen staff.
• Supervise preparation of meals for buffet and à‑la‑carte services.

Required profile

• Preferably 5 years of experience in comparable kitchen management roles.
• Conversational knowledge of English.
• Basic computer skills, especially MS Office.
• Motivated, positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work under pressure and occasional overtime.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
