About the role

Pharmas d.o.o is seeking a senior/lead analyst to join its Quality Control laboratory in Popovača. The role focuses on reviewing and processing analytical data using the Empower software, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, and supporting continuous improvement in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a Reviewer in the Empower program, reviewing and processing analytical data.
• Check audit trails within Empower and verify analytical documentation.
• Enter analysis results into the appropriate information system.
• Plan and schedule analyses to meet defined deadlines.
• Participate in the preparation of analytical documentation and SOPs.
• Assist in deviation handling, notifications, and corrective actions.
• Support internal and external inspections and implement corrective measures.
• Conduct periodic sample analyses according to the plan.

Required profile

• University degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Food Technology, Industrial Ecology or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with HPLC/UHPLC and data review.
• Proactive, conscientious, and ambitious attitude.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment and pursue continuous training.
• Valid category B driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Operation of HPLC/UHPLC systems.
• Proficiency with Empower data‑review software.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
