About the role

The Senior Legislative Specialist will ensure that KRAŠ’s food and consumer‑goods products comply with national and EU regulations. You will support product development from concept to launch, guarantee correct labeling, and act as a liaison with authorities and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, interpret and implement national and European food‑related regulatory requirements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance of products, labels, specifications and technical documentation.
• Provide regulatory support throughout new product development and approve product claims.
• Analyze competitor products, labels and market practices to identify trends and opportunities.
• Communicate with authorities, laboratories, suppliers and external partners.
• Assess impact of regulatory changes on the product portfolio and coordinate necessary adjustments.
• Participate in internal training and offer expertise to colleagues.

Required profile

• University degree in food technology, chemistry, pharmacy or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in regulatory affairs, product development or quality systems.
• Strong knowledge of Croatian and EU legislation for food and consumer goods.
• Experience handling regulatory and technical documentation.
• Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills.
• Proactive, creative and results‑oriented with active English proficiency.
