Electrical Engineer – Maintenance & PCS Specialist

About the role

SCOTT BADER d.o.o. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead maintenance and investment activities for its plant’s electrical power systems, installations, and the Production Control System (PCS). The role ensures reliable operation, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, coordinate and manage corrective, preventive and investment‑related maintenance for electrical power systems, installations, equipment and PCS hardware/software.
• Prepare and maintain reports, statutory records and technical documentation related to electrical maintenance and PCS.
• Handle procurement proposals, technical communication with suppliers and acceptance of electrical materials and PCS equipment.
• Supervise external contractors, inspect and accept completed electrical and PCS work.
• Monitor and optimise consumption of electricity, steam and gas.
• Support the Operations and Site Manager in planning and executing investment projects.
• Ensure compliance with Croatian legislation, group health‑safety, fire‑protection and environmental requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical Engineering (preferably Electrical Power Engineering).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of occupational health & safety, environmental protection and fire prevention requirements.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
