Toolmaker (m/f) – Lead Tooling Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Toolmaker to lead the maintenance and repair of complex multi‑cavity injection molds, jigs, fixtures and dies at our Osijek facility. The role combines hands‑on machining with technical mentorship, ensuring high‑quality tooling for production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and repair of multi‑cavity injection molds, jigs, fixtures and dies.
• Interpret 2D/3D technical drawings and CAD/CAM data for accurate machining and mold refurbishment.
• Operate advanced equipment such as 3‑axis CNC machines, EDM wire/sink, grinding and polishing tools.
• Manufacture and refurbish precision spare parts and molds using appropriate materials.
• Mentor tooling technicians and engineers, promoting best practices and timely execution.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to tooling, machining and fabrication.
• Recommend design, material and process improvements for optimal production results.
• Ensure quality using precision measuring instruments (e.g., CMM) and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

Required profile

• Technical high school graduate.
• 7–10 years of experience in injection mold tooling and CNC machining.
• Strong ability to work with tight tolerances and complex geometries.
• Proficiency in English and Croatian.
• Team‑oriented with leadership capabilities and a proactive mindset.
• Nice to have: completed technical apprenticeship or craftsmanship certificate in toolmaking.
