About the role

KRAŠ, a leading Croatian producer of chocolate, candies and biscuits, is looking for a Production Technologist (m/f) to join its expert team. You will ensure compliance with standards, support production planning and contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce applicable norms, regulations, recipes and technical‑technological conditions, updating related documentation.
• Participate in organizing the production process, scheduling staff and aligning competencies with job requirements.
• Track production output, labor activities and consumption of raw materials and packaging against defined norms and propose process improvements.
• Assist in planning raw‑material and packaging needs, follow relevant legislation and cooperate with procurement for selection and receipt of specific raw materials.
• Select raw materials based on physico‑chemical analyses and production plans.
• Read and monitor results of physico‑chemical and microbiological analyses.
• Oversee production equipment operation, ensuring efficient and economical use.
• Review ERP system reports, correct identified errors and prepare data for planned vs. actual production calculations and periodic reports.
• Take part in inventories and monitor material consumption per work orders and warehouse.
• Prepare reports on product breakage quantities and support industrial trials together with R&D.
• Manage and monitor activities related to the plant’s supply chain.

Required profile

• University degree in Food Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions.
• Strong organisational abilities.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Good computer skills (MS Office).
