About the role

The company is looking for an ambitious and reliable Production Technologist to coordinate manufacturing activities at its Zagreb facility. The role involves overseeing daily production processes, ensuring quality compliance, and supporting continuous improvement in a cured‑meat environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the work of production staff and manage shift schedules.
• Create and issue production work orders and follow the production plan.
• Print and input label texts for finished products.
• Maintain and control documentation for quality‑control systems.
• Coordinate with inspection authorities and external packaging partners.
• Monitor incoming invoices and departmental expenses.
• Report production performance and related metrics as required.
• Control raw‑material inventories, place orders in collaboration with purchasing and warehouse teams, and track expiry dates.
• Record and manage consumable (repromaterial) usage.

Required profile

• University degree (VSS) from the Faculty of Food Biotechnologies.
• Experience in a cured‑meat production plant.
• Knowledge of quality‑management systems and food‑labeling regulations.
• Strong organisational, analytical and planning abilities.
• Ability to lead work processes independently with accuracy and reliability.
• Proficiency with MS Office and general computer use.
• Good spoken and written English.
