Field Service Technician (m/w/d)

About the role

GEA CEE GmbH is looking for a proactive Field Service Technician to support customers in Croatia and neighboring countries. You will be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and optimizing industrial separators and decanters.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, retrofit, and repair work on separators and decanters.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues both on‑site and remotely.
• Install, commission, and start up new equipment, including I/O checks, water runs, product trials, functional testing and handover to the customer.
• Adjust equipment and optimise processes to ensure reliable operation.
• Coordinate troubleshooting with internal technical support teams when needed.
• Prepare service reports and technical documentation after each visit.
• Provide technical support to customers across Croatia and occasionally in Hungary and Slovenia.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular site visits.

Required profile

• Technical vocational education in mechanics, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a related field.
• Experience in service, maintenance or commissioning of industrial equipment.
• Independent, hands‑on, customer‑oriented working style.
• Strong communication skills, willingness to travel and a valid Category B driver’s licence.
• Good written and spoken Croatian and English.
