About the role

The Jadran Hotels team in Rijeka is looking for a professional, responsible and proactive Maintenance Technician to oversee the hotel’s built‑in technical systems and ensure their reliable, uninterrupted operation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the performance of all installed technical systems, plant equipment and hotel assets.
• Detect and report any deviations or potential issues in a timely manner.
• Diagnose technical problems and collaborate with the technical department to resolve them.
• Ensure safe and continuous operation of mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations.
• Record the condition of equipment and maintain accurate logs.
• Coordinate and follow up on required technical interventions.
• Work closely with other hotel departments to meet technical needs promptly.
• Communicate with guests when the situation requires.
• Work in shifts while adhering to safety regulations and hotel procedures.

Required profile

• Completed secondary or higher technical education.
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong organizational skills, proactivity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, identify problems early and act promptly.
• Willingness to cooperate with other departments and technical team members.
• Preferable knowledge of English.
