About the role

We are looking for a proactive and organized Finance & Accounting Assistant to join our team in Zagreb. You will provide essential support to the finance department, handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks and contributing to the preparation of financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting and financial operations.
• Prepare and process incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Monitor and post bank statements.
• Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding financial transactions.
• Track receivables and reconcile balances.
• Prepare documentation for audits.
• Perform other administrative duties within the finance department.
• Support the optimisation of financial processes.

Required profile

• Secondary or higher education, preferably a degree in economics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Active spoken and written English.
• Driving licence category B.
• Analytical, precise and detail‑oriented.
• Responsible, independent and proactive.
• Team player who respects deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with the 4D Wand ERP system (preferred).
