Sport & Fitness Coordinator

About the role

The Sport & Fitness Coordinator will lead the resort’s fitness and sports programmes, delivering high‑quality classes and activities for an international guest base. You will ensure safe, engaging experiences while supporting the overall wellness offering of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group fitness classes (HIIT, yoga, Pilates, aqua fitness, etc.) and provide personalized assessments.
• Design and adapt exercise programmes to match guest goals and abilities.
• Organise daily sports activities and tournaments, including tennis, padel, football, volleyball, cycling, kayaking and more.
• Prepare and maintain fitness facilities and equipment, reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
• Ensure compliance with resort health and safety standards, perform equipment inspections, and hold current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Assist with scheduling, attendance tracking, and inventory control.
• Promote programmes through marketing support, photo/video content, and guest engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, Kinesiology, Recreation or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fitness instruction or sports coordination within luxury hospitality, wellness resorts, cruise ships, sports clubs or fitness centres.
• Experience with international clientele is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for health, fitness and active living.
