About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor supports the Hotel Host in managing the housekeeping team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest service at Hotel Pinija in Petrčane. This role combines people‑management, quality control, and operational coordination in a dynamic hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Hotel Host in all people‑management tasks according to their directives.
• Support employee development, training, and onboarding to guarantee flawless guest service.
• Monitor cleanliness levels and work quality of housekeeping staff.
• Ensure proper appearance, uniform compliance, and professional conduct of the team.
• Check adherence to room and public‑area standards.
• Plan and organise daily task schedules and activity plans for housekeeping personnel.
• Provide emergency support and assume duties of the Hotel Host or staff when required.
• Report room availability continuously to keep the status list up‑to‑date.
• Control, order, and allocate consumables and supplies needed for housekeeping operations.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar housekeeping supervisory role.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Reliability, high confidentiality, and strong sense of responsibility.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage people effectively.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and time‑management skills.
• Capability to resolve conflicts calmly and professionally.

Required skills

• Proficient use of the MS Office suite.
