Senior UX/UI Designer

About the role

DEPT®, a Growth Invention company serving brands such as Google, Lufthansa, Meta, eBay and OpenAI, is hiring a Senior UX/UI Designer for its Experience & Engineering unit in Zagreb, Croatia. The role sits within a team of digital designers and involves collaborating with colleagues across Europe on complex design challenges for international clients. The position is onsite/hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Translate strategy and insights into journeys, wireframes and visual interface designs grounded in solid design principles
• Present work to clients and stakeholders, handle input and manage feedback
• Work with global DEPT colleagues to help international clients reach their digital goals
• Foster a design-driven culture through knowledge sharing and best practices

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer at an agency or a renowned brand
• Experience with diverse digital design projects for large brands
• A strong portfolio (website or PDF)
• Great communicator who takes initiative and works well in multidisciplinary teams
• Working proficiency in English

Required skills

• Experience with Figma and Design Systems is a must
• Experience in motion design (Jitter) and AI tools is a big plus
