Project Manager Control Systems

About the role

Jungheinrich, a company with over 30 years of experience in software and digital product development covering warehouse, fleet, device, process and interface management, is looking for a Project Manager Control Systems in Zagreb. The role covers the end-to-end management of control systems projects, from takeover from sales through planning, control and risk management to project closure.

Key responsibilities

• Take over control systems projects from sales, including scope verification, planning, control, risk management and commercial closure with acceptance implementation
• Set up the project team in coordination with the implemented units and create, maintain and control the project schedule and milestones
• Coordinate with internal departments and project managers, and run kick-off meetings with partners such as mechanics and software teams
• Oversee development, construction, subcontractors, testing, quality assurance, documentation, commissioning and on-site user training
• Develop functional specifications, take part in specification workshops, test them and review safety-related topics
• Prepare installation and commissioning requirements, including on-site inspections
• Ensure occupational health and safety compliance and coordinate travel, dispatch and work time, and support team leaders with resource and vacation planning
• Take part in on-site and internal project meetings, handle escalations and damage management, and report project status to superiors
• Coordinate support transfers and additional offers with sales support

Required profile

• Technical training (apprenticeship, higher technical college, university of applied sciences or technology), preferably in electrical engineering, automation, mechanical science, mechatronics, electronics or industrial engineering
• Professional experience in intralogistics, project management and management
• German and English

Required skills

• Microsoft Office
• Microsoft Project or similar is an advantage
