Senior UI/UX Designer

About the role

Huzzle connects talent with in-house roles at leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe and Australia. It is hiring a Senior UI/UX Designer for a fully remote, high-impact design position. You will lead the end-to-end design process, from research and wireframing to high-fidelity UI and usability testing, in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of user-centric interfaces for web and mobile applications
• Conduct user research and usability testing, and turn insights into design decisions
• Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI designs using tools such as Figma or Adobe XD
• Work closely with product managers, developers and stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences
• Maintain and evolve design systems to keep products consistent
• Optimise user flows, accessibility and overall product usability
• Stay up to date with UI/UX trends, tools and best practices

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in SaaS or tech environments
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end design projects (web and/or mobile)
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices
• Experience with design systems and responsive design
• Ability to run user research and turn findings into actionable insights
• Strong communication skills and experience in remote, cross-functional teams

Required skills

• Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar design tools
• Front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, basic JS) is a plus
