About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to lead project segments independently and integrate quickly with existing teams. The role involves delivering complex automation solutions for the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, and energy sectors from concept through commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Design, program, and configure PLC, SCADA, HMI, and process control systems.
• Conduct system tests, FAT and SAT, and perform on‑site commissioning.
• Prepare project, technical test, and qualification documentation in compliance with GxP requirements.
• Provide technical advice to clients, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Develop and cost automation solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in process automation.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and take responsibility for delivery quality.
• Structured, independent work approach and capacity to maintain oversight in regulated environments.

Required skills

• PLC programming and configuration.
• SCADA and HMI development.
• Siemens SIMATIC S7, TIA Portal, WinCC, PCS 7.
• Experience with system testing, FAT, SAT, and commissioning.
• Understanding of regulated production environments (GxP).
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
