SCADA Development Engineer (m/f)

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Continuously develop and improve the SCADA product based on Siemens WinCC OA.
• Develop software solutions using object‑oriented technologies such as C++, C#, CTRL++, SQL and modern web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues in product and customer installations.
• Design software architectures, technical concepts and designs for future product versions.
• Plan and execute unit, integration and system tests and support code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, engineering, support and development teams in an agile (Scrum) environment.

Required profile

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in object‑oriented software development with C# and/or C++ in a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Experience with networked systems, databases and agile development methods (Scrum); knowledge of SCADA or automation is a plus.
• Proficiency with development tools such as Git, Subversion, BitBucket, Jenkins, CI/CD, DevOps or Azure environments.
• Excellent written and spoken English and German at minimum B2 level.
