About the role

We are looking for a diligent accountant to join our team in Split. The successful candidate will handle day‑to‑day bookkeeping, payroll processing, and tax reporting for our clients.

Key responsibilities

Record incoming and outgoing invoices
Process bank statements and reconcile accounts
Calculate payroll and related benefits
Prepare VAT returns and other tax filings
Communicate with clients regarding routine accounting matters

Required profile

Proven experience in accounting
Ability to work independently, responsibly and with attention to detail
Strong knowledge of accounting and tax regulations
Good computer literacy

Required skills

Experience with the Synesis accounting program (preferred)

Full‑time position (40 hours/week) with the possibility of part‑time (20+ hours) by agreement
