About the role

Altpro is looking for a Project Technician to organise, test and supervise the installation and servicing of its railway safety equipment across Croatia and abroad. You will work closely with the sales department and external partners to ensure high‑quality delivery of hardware and software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor the installation of Altpro systems (Autostop, Budnik, Event Register, ETCS) on rolling stock at multiple sites.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on locomotives, including monthly inspections and emergency repairs.
• Service electronic devices used on railway vehicles and conduct final and prototype testing of hardware and software.
• Prepare and update project and customer documentation.
• Organise internal and external training sessions.
• Provide technical support to the sales team and communicate technical information to customers.

Required profile

• Higher education in electrical engineering (SSS).
• Relevant experience in similar technical roles is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Active English language skills (minimum B2).
• Valid category B driving licence.
• Team‑oriented, proactive, responsible and detail‑focused.
