About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to lead investment projects at a leading Croatian food‑industry company. You will be responsible for planning, executing and monitoring projects that modernise equipment and improve production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own project delivery and related activities from concept to completion.
• Participate in research, analysis and preparation of materials supporting the company’s strategic goals.
• Develop the annual investment plan and monitor existing equipment status.
• Collect and analyse offers for works or equipment procurement.
• Design optimal technical solutions and feasibility studies.
• Define and track project schedules, ensuring timely permits and approvals.
• Coordinate internal and external collaborators, including designers, site managers and equipment suppliers.
• Organise trial runs of new equipment and provide training for operators.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Familiarity with technical documentation.
• Team‑player attitude and commitment to quality work.
