Groups, Conferences & Events Sales Executive

About the role

The hotel is looking for a proactive, organized professional to act as the main liaison between clients and the property for groups, conferences and events. The role contributes directly to achieving sales targets and increasing revenue from the MICE segment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, process and follow up on inquiries for groups, conferences and events.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate with clients and convert inquiries into confirmed events.
• Plan and coordinate all event aspects, including accommodation, conference rooms, technical equipment and food‑and‑beverage services.
• Communicate with clients via phone, email and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Organise and conduct hotel tours for prospective clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inquiries, offers, contracts, schedules and special requests.
• Promote hotel spaces, conference capacities and event packages.
• Monitor event execution and ensure client satisfaction throughout the process.
• Contribute actively to meeting sales goals and growing revenue from groups, conferences and events.

Required profile

• Experience in sales, hospitality, events, tourism or a related field.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Customer‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent organisational and administrative capabilities.
• Proactive, independent and able to work in a dynamic environment.
• Very good computer literacy.
• Fluent in Croatian and English.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with various hotel departments.
