About the role

The company seeks a senior professional to develop, optimise and improve packaging solutions for both existing and new products, working across the full product development cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and improve packaging solutions for existing and new products.
• Participate in new‑product development projects from concept to commercialisation.
• Propose and develop innovative packaging concepts and technological solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competition and conduct benchmark analyses.
• Plan, organise and execute testing of new packaging materials.
• Assist in the selection and validation of new suppliers and materials.
• Collaborate closely with production, procurement, marketing, sales and external partners.
• Track legislative developments and requirements related to packaging, sustainability and circular economy.
• Lead or contribute to the strategy for packaging material development, depending on experience level.

Required profile

• Higher education in food technology, graphic, chemical or related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years experience for a technologist role or 5 years for a senior packaging development position.
• Strong analytical, organisational, communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive, creative and results‑oriented attitude.
• Valid B‑category driving licence.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GS1 standards.
• Familiarity with PPWR regulation requirements.
• Understanding of sustainable packaging principles.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient use of Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Active command of English (spoken and written).
