About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accounting Assistant to independently handle a wide range of bookkeeping tasks for our clients in Zagreb. The role involves processing various accounting documents, preparing tax forms, and managing payroll calculations.

Key responsibilities

  • Independent posting of URA, IRA, bank statements, travel orders and compensations.
  • Preparation of PDV, PDV‑s, ZP forms and payroll calculations (JOPPD).
  • General bookkeeping entries, reconciliations and account postings.
  • Registration and deregistration with HZMO, HZZO, tax authorities, e‑tax and fiscalisation 2.0.
  • Preparation of final accounts for small trading companies.
  • Direct contact with clients via phone, email and in‑person meetings.

Required profile

  • Ability to work independently and accurately on bookkeeping tasks.
  • Preferably fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Preferable experience with the Synesis accounting software.
