About the role
We are looking for a diligent Accounting Assistant to independently handle a wide range of bookkeeping tasks for our clients in Zagreb. The role involves processing various accounting documents, preparing tax forms, and managing payroll calculations.
Key responsibilities
- Independent posting of URA, IRA, bank statements, travel orders and compensations.
- Preparation of PDV, PDV‑s, ZP forms and payroll calculations (JOPPD).
- General bookkeeping entries, reconciliations and account postings.
- Registration and deregistration with HZMO, HZZO, tax authorities, e‑tax and fiscalisation 2.0.
- Preparation of final accounts for small trading companies.
- Direct contact with clients via phone, email and in‑person meetings.
Required profile
- Ability to work independently and accurately on bookkeeping tasks.
- Preferably fluent in spoken and written English.
- Preferable experience with the Synesis accounting software.
