Abbott Ambassador – Sales Specialist for Zagreb & Slavonija

About the role

Abbott is seeking an experienced Sales Specialist to act as the Abbott Ambassador for the Zagreb and Slavonija region. The role is field‑based, full‑time, and initially offered on a 15‑month fixed‑term contract with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the trusted partner and primary account manager for existing customers.
• Build promoter relationships and achieve targeted retention rates.
• Develop accounts according to strategic plans, focusing on value expansion and economic profitability.
• Coordinate order, delivery, and billing processes.
• Represent the Abbott Core Diagnostics brand with emphasis on laboratory management.
• Collaborate with acquisition, sales, marketing, support, technical service, and finance teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant healthcare or sales experience.
• Knowledge of diagnostics equipment and the local diagnostics market.
• Proven experience working in a medical environment and building high‑quality business relationships.
• Ability to travel up to 70 % of the assigned territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biomedical, Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Medical Technology or a related field (preferred).
• Strong analytical mindset, innovation, adaptability and schedule flexibility.
• Fluent in English and Croatian.
