About the role

The Deputy Director of the Commercial Sector will actively support the development of sales activities, manage key client relationships and coordinate commercial operations across our subsidiaries and branches. The role is based in Zagreb and reports to the Commercial Director.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor economic efficiency and profitability, implementing actions to achieve set targets.
• Conduct market analysis, propose and execute sales initiatives.
• Manage relationships with key clients and drive client acquisition.
• Oversee receivables collection and improve payment processes.
• Develop market strategy and sales policy, adjusting service fees to market conditions.
• Analyze and improve internal business processes of the sector.
• Represent the company at domestic and international conferences relevant to the business.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding or transport.
• Strong negotiation, communication and organisational abilities.
• Decision‑making, problem‑solving and responsibility‑taking mindset.
• Independent, proactive, result‑oriented and adaptable.
• Fluent English; additional language (German or Italian) is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• Working knowledge of Brix and/or Diglas logistics software.
