About the role

We are looking for a Production Manager to lead the shift at our fully automated waste sorting plant in Zaprešić. The role involves organizing, coordinating and supervising the daily operations of the sorting line while ensuring safety, quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, coordinate and monitor shift work in the automatic sorting facility.
• Allocate tasks, track quality of work and sorting processes.
• Maintain employee time records and operational documentation.
• Monitor consumption of energy, consumables and other resources.
• Collaborate with maintenance, transport and warehouse departments to ensure uninterrupted plant operation.
• Report equipment faults, manage spare‑part and consumable needs.
• Introduce and train staff, ensuring adherence to work procedures.
• Oversee occupational safety, environmental protection and other security standards.
• Take care of assigned equipment and team members’ tools.
• Report shift performance, irregularities and improvement suggestions to superiors.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary school education in a technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar production or sorting environment.
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental legislation.
• Basic computer skills.
