About the role

The Senior System Maintenance Specialist will join OIV – Digital Signals and Networks, the main provider of national strategic communication infrastructure, delivering reliable digital networks and platforms for signal transmission, content distribution and data transfer over fiber‑optic networks for mission‑critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in managing ICT technology projects.
• Install and maintain server operating systems.
• Maintain and monitor client and server ICT equipment.
• Maintain system IT services.
• Install and configure complex client applications.
• Manage user accounts and access rights.
• Provide user support for IT systems.
• Implement security solutions for IT systems.
• Track new technologies in system maintenance and apply them.
• Prioritise tasks to ensure quality and timely resolution.
• Contribute to technical documentation for ICT equipment procurement.
• Assist in budgeting for specific ICT technology groups.
• Communicate with business partners and support other organisational units.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of IT protocols and standards.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems.
• Basic understanding of relational database technology.
• Familiarity with administration of Microsoft system services.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages.
• Basic experience with virtualization technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise backup systems.
• Excellent command of MS Office.
• Active proficiency in English.
