UI / Visual Designer

About the role

DEPT, a growth invention company operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, is hiring a UI / Visual Designer in its growing offices in Zagreb or Split. You will work with a team of digital designers shaping top-notch digital experiences for international clients, turning strategy and UX into polished interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Translate strategy and UX into pixel-perfect interface designs.
• Work closely with UX designers on the final product and delivery.
• Support your design choices with annotations and animations.
• Present your work to clients and stakeholders and handle feedback.
• Take responsibility for the highest quality of final delivery and proper implementation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced agency environment, with a strong portfolio of sophisticated experience design.
• Experience designing websites, apps and digital products.
• Fluent English, able to explain complex design concepts to executives and engineers.
• Enjoys cross-functional teamwork with UX designers, copywriters and developers.

Required skills

• Mastery of Figma is a must.
• Experience with motion design and prototyping tools such as Framer or Jitter is a major plus.
• Active use of AI-powered design tools and workflows.
