About the role

The Regional Gymnastics Federation of Lika‑Senj is looking for a motivated gymnastics trainer (male/female) to lead children’s gymnastics programs in Gospić and Korenica. The role combines hands‑on coaching, program design, and participation in competitions and camps.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and conduct regular gymnastics training sessions for children in Gospić and Korenica.
• Lead one wrestling training session per week in Korenica.
• Design age‑appropriate exercises, adapt programmes to different age groups, and maintain participant records.
• Accompany and coach children at 5‑7 competition weekends per year.
• Participate in children’s sports camps during school holidays.
• Engage in ongoing education and training with mentors from Zagreb.

Required profile

• Preference for candidates residing in Lika‑Senj County.
• Relevant professional qualification or licence.
• Degree in kinesiology (preferred) or a certified gymnastics coaching course recognised by the ministry.
• Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine affinity for working with children.
• Eagerness to learn, develop, and acquire new coaching competencies under mentorship.

What we offer

• Net salary of 1,300 EUR per month.
• Flexible schedule: 4 days a week, 4 hours per day in the gym.
• Mentorship from experienced Zagreb coaches (1‑2 visits per month).
• One month of summer vacation.
• Additional daily allowances for summer, spring, and winter camps.
• Opportunity to earn extra income during competition weekends.
• Fixed‑term contract until 8 January 2028 with possible extension to permanent.
