About the role

The International British School Vedri obzori is seeking a dedicated History Teacher (m/f) to join its faculty in Zagreb. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that cover local, national, and global historical topics, fostering a deep understanding of the forces that have shaped our modern world.

Key responsibilities

• Teach students about local, state, national, and global history.
• Discuss important figures, dates, and events that have shaped contemporary society.
• Create instructional resources and lesson plans for classroom use.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities.
• Maintain a positive educational climate that supports student learning.
• Meet course and school-wide student performance goals.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions.
• Adapt lesson plans throughout the academic year as needed.
