Technical Consultant (SQL) – Public Sector

About the role

SD Worx is seeking a Technical Consultant (SQL) to join its team in Zagreb, focusing on public‑sector clients. You will combine strong SQL expertise with a consultative mindset to deliver, optimise and support HRnet solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain technical solutions within the HRnet application.
• Create and optimise SQL procedures, scripts and database objects using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Support system integrations and data‑migration projects for new and existing clients.
• Collaborate with developers, consultants and business analysts to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation and support phases.
• Communicate with clients to understand requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
• Strong SQL and database development skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Professional working proficiency in Croatian and English.
