About the role

Join KentBank's Product and Strategy sector in Zagreb as a Business Development and Strategy Associate. You will work closely with product teams, commercial planners and strategic partners to drive growth and improve profitability across the bank’s portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze client needs and identify factors influencing behavior, profitability and risk.
• Monitor product performance through portfolio analysis and propose actions to meet targets.
• Support the development and management of product and service offerings, including client segmentation, pricing and commercial planning.
• Contribute to promotional and communication activities for bank products and services.
• Collaborate with strategic business partners to enhance customer experience and sales standards.
• Assist in creating commercial plans for individuals and corporate clients and suggest initiatives for business development.

Required profile

• University degree in economics or a related field.
• Minimum three years of banking experience, preferably in strategy or business development.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, product inter‑relationships, and regulatory environment.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
• Proactive, independent, detail‑oriented and capable of problem solving.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong PowerPoint skills for preparing presentations and business proposals.
• Broad knowledge of the MS Office suite.
