About the role

The company is looking for an Accounting Assistant to support daily financial operations, ensure accurate bookkeeping, and assist with month‑end closing activities. The role involves close interaction with internal teams, business partners, and banks.

Key responsibilities

• Book incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Calculate and record VAT.
• Maintain communication and correspondence with business partners and collaborators.
• Process approvals and charge entries.
• Post interest allocations on loans, monitor loan balances and monthly interest.
• Prepare monthly expense data for production accounting.
• Issue and reverse advance payment invoices for customers on a monthly basis.
• Handle compensations, account balances, and collections.
• Perform monthly production accounting and reconcile production costs.
• Generate statistical reports and manage e‑invoicing (fiskapp).
• Communicate with banks and prepare required documentation.
• Conduct annual reconciliation with partners and prepare final accounts.
• Produce management reports.

Required profile

• Secondary or higher education in economics (SSS/VŠS/VSS).
• Good spoken and written English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
• Responsible, detail‑oriented, organized and ambitious.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
