About the role

The Premium Accounting Associate for life insurance will support the monthly closing process, ensure accurate posting of premium data, and contribute to continuous improvement of accounting procedures within a leading insurance group.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the monthly closing process in existing systems and the general ledger.
• Validate postings and reconcile premium data with the SAP general ledger.
• Prepare monthly reports on collected premiums, uncollected premiums, over‑payments and settled claims.
• Control and reconcile claim payment orders, commission payments and batch payment preparation.
• Perform other operational tasks related to life‑insurance premium accounting.
• Analyze and document processes relevant to premium collections and claim disbursements.
• Participate in transformation activities, developing and improving existing insurance processes.

Required profile

• Completed secondary or higher education with an economic focus.
• Proficient use of a personal computer and MS Office suite.
• Good command of English.
• Willingness to develop personally and learn continuously.
• Previous experience in insurance or similar roles is an advantage.
