About the role

STUDENAC d.o.o. is looking for a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to design, implement and continuously improve reward models that align with the company’s compensation strategy. The role will support the HR team in managing performance, budgeting and compliance across a large workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enhance compensation models and reward systems in line with corporate strategy.
• Define job complexity, salary ranges and variable pay structures for different job categories.
• Design and apply performance management systems, variable pay models and organisational KPIs.
• Create analytical tools for goal setting, KPI tracking and variable pay calculations.
• Develop and manage the benefits programme.
• Advise management on performance management and compensation‑related matters.
• Plan, monitor and report on salary budgets and labour‑cost expenses.
• Track market salary trends and regulatory requirements, recommending internal adjustments as needed.

Required profile

• University degree in economics, mathematics, psychology or a related field.
• Relevant experience in compensation, benefits, HR analytics or controlling.
• Strong understanding of salary structures, benefits, tax and regulatory aspects.
• Experience handling budgets and large data sets.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to link data to business needs.
• Proficiency in English at least B2 level.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with HRIS systems.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
